I am a licensed clinical psychologist, a husband, father, and grandfather. I have been blessed with a career path that spans more than 30 years of work in non-profits and that has allowed me to work with children with cancer and blood diseases, at-risk youth, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
What drew me to Home of Hope was its strong reputation for doing whatever it takes to truly touch the lives and meet the needs of the people receiving their services. It is so much more than professional here – it is personal.
What has kept me here, and what I envision keeping me here for a very long time to come, is the heart, dedication and deep commitment of our nearly 400 employees to truly do what is right for each of the more than 200 people whose lives we touch.
Our leaders are experienced, creative, willing to work through and create change when needed, and capable of riding out any storm with calm and with a focus on the vision Home of Hope has always had for improving people’s lives.
Our direct care staff are among the kindest and most giving people I have ever been blessed to meet. They walk beside our clients with such grace and consideration.
My involvement at Home of Hope brings with it the hard work and challenges that are to be expected. The rewards of supporting both our clients and our staff with their lives’ challenges makes every moment truly worthwhile.
