Hope Industries is a center-based employment program which provides work experience for approximately 60 people with developmental disabilities. We blend training and job opportunities in an industrial setting. The goal of Hope Industries is to give its employees the opportunity to earn real wages for real work. The development of work-readiness skills such as attention to task and development of appropriate motor skills may be part of the services provided. Hope Industries solicits and earns contracts from companies to provide outsourcing services. All of these projects involve manual work to be completed according to customer specifications. The projects create job opportunities and training for our clients with disabilities and are supported by Hope Industries staff. Job specific training is provided to our employees. When needed, the addition of staff and supervisory personnel are easily recruited from the local workforce to meet specific needs. Monitoring of work assures quality and production rates.
